Heart Wisdom: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times

How can we stay grounded and connected when the world around us feels uncertain? Let's discover what ancient wisdom might teach us about finding calm, cultivating abundance, and moving through times of change with greater intention. This heartfelt author conversation offers an invitation to explore how nature, seasonal changes, and simple everyday rituals can help us feel more rooted in our lives. Our guest authors, Maureen Calamia, author of "The Enchanted Earth," and Brenda Knight, writing as Cerridwen Greenleaf, author of "The Witch’s Book of Wealth," will share stories, insights, and practical wisdom about bringing ancient traditions into modern life. Together, we’ll explore small rituals for calm and connection, as well as ways to nurture a sense of abundance even when rising prices and financial worries weigh on our hearts. As the Gaelic festival, Samhain, arrives, we’ll look at the parallels between it and Chinese understandings of yin and yang. The conversation will also touch on the spiritual idea of a “thinning veil," both at this season and during other transitional times. The conversation will be facilitated by Sherry Richert Belul, author of "The Love List of a Lifetime" and "Say It Now," known for her warm and heartfelt approach to connection, reflection, and meaningful living. Since March 2020, Brenda Knight and Sherry Richert Belul have hosted the Heart Wisdom Author Panels to offer insight, comfort, and connection during times of uncertainty. What began as a response to a challenging moment has grown into an ongoing space for thoughtful conversation.
