In fact, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms have adjusted their user interface to be more accommodating for vertical video thanks to TikTok’s wild popularity. So instead of looking at TikTok’s shrinking audience (the app is banned in countries like India and Ethiopia), what if we consider it a content export platform? Bans on government devices have been in effect in the United States and Canada already, now with the state of Montana banning TikTok for its citizens, will businesses face backlash for using the platform?
