In our inaugural #MakingMarketersBookClub, Jess Nickerson and Andy Pondillo will have a different kind of podcast for us.

“Jogging: A Physical Fitness Program for All Ages” was published in 1967, and co-authored by William J Bowerman. You may also know Bowerman as the co-founder of Nike. In this book, the authors detail the early findings of health benefits from jogging that would later support the running boom of the 1970s and 1980s.

The team analyzes this from a marketing lens, with how powerful data and research assisted in constructing a Nike empire.
