Watch: The 2026 MPN Awards in Under Two Minutes

Aug 13, 2026 By Chris Slater

Every winner from the first Marketing Podcast Network Awards, cut into a two-minute highlight reel — plus how we made it from the full broadcast.

Share the goodness!

The first Marketing Podcast Network Awards brought together outstanding marketing podcasts from around the world, hosted by Gordon Glenister and Jason Falls. If you missed the broadcast — or you want the moment your show’s name was read out, without scrubbing through seventeen minutes to find it — we cut a highlight reel.

Watch the full broadcast and explore the complete awards pages on the 2026 MPN Awards hub.

How the reel got made — and why it matters to your show

Here is the part that is genuinely useful to you, rather than to us.

ClipMaster

The MPN Awards highlight reel was produced courtesy of ClipMaster.

That highlight reel came out of a seventeen-minute broadcast. The finished cut runs under two minutes and carries all nine reveals, the on-air winner cards, a face and a name for each voice, and a music bed. It was assembled with ClipMaster, an AI clipping tool that takes long-form video and finds the moments worth keeping.

Now look at your own back catalogue.

If you have been publishing weekly for two years, you are sitting on something like a hundred hours of recorded conversation. Somewhere in there are several hundred genuinely good ninety-second moments — the sharp answer, the unexpected story, the line your guest did not plan to say. Right now almost all of them are unreachable. Nobody is going to scrub a fifty-two-minute episode to find them, and you do not have the hours to do it manually either.

That is the actual problem. Not “we should post more.” The problem is that the good material already exists and there is no economical way to get it out.

This matters more in 2026 than it did in 2024, for a reason that has nothing to do with social media growth hacking. Google has started reporting your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube performance inside Search Console. Google does not build measurement for surfaces it considers irrelevant. Your clips are being treated as part of how people find you in search. A back catalogue that produces no clips is a back catalogue that is invisible to that layer entirely.

Why podcast clips matter for search discovery in 2026

What ClipMaster costs

  • Creator — $19/month. 300 credits a month, 1080p exports, no watermark, all caption presets, 25 projects. This is a founder’s rate; early subscribers keep it for the life of the account.
  • Pro — $49/month. 1,000 credits, 4K exports, batch playlist pipeline, brand kits, API and webhooks, unlimited projects.
  • Business — $129/month. 3,000 credits, priority rendering, team seats, higher API limits.

For most single-show podcasters, Creator at $19 is the right starting tier. Pro is worth it when you are running a network, a back catalogue backfill, or a batch pipeline across a playlist.

If you would rather earn from it than pay for it

ClipMaster runs an affiliate program, and the terms are unusually good for this category:

  • 30% of all subscription revenue from users you refer
  • Recurring for as long as they stay subscribed — no cap
  • Lifetime attribution — once someone signs up through your link they are yours permanently
  • 50 bonus credits when a referred user upgrades
  • Paid by PayPal on the 1st of each month, $50 minimum threshold

Free accounts are tracked but earn nothing until the user upgrades — worth knowing so the numbers do not surprise you. The dashboard also ships ready-made swipe files for email and social, so you are not writing the promo yourself.

If you host a marketing podcast, you are talking every week to exactly the audience this is built for. A podcaster who mentions their clipping workflow honestly, because they actually use it, is going to convert better than any ad we could run. Details and signup: clipmasterapp.com/affiliate.

One last thing about the reel

Nine winners in under two minutes only works if it does not feel like a slideshow. Three things did most of that work, and they transfer to any multi-speaker clip you cut:

Put a face to each voice. The reel shows a portrait, name and role for each speaker while they are talking. Naming Jason as the person announcing every winner in the first ten seconds means the next seventy seconds are legible — you know whose voice you are hearing.

Let a voice run across a picture cut. If the audio and the visuals change at the same instant, every reveal lands like a new slide. Letting a line of speech carry over the cut is what makes it read as one continuous moment.

Give speech room on both sides. Cutting in silence is not enough. Leave roughly four tenths of a second before the first word and slightly more after the last. Cuts that are technically clean but tight against the speech still sound clipped.

None of that is software. It is editorial judgement, and it is the difference between a highlight reel people watch and one they scroll past.

Congratulations again to every winner and finalist. See you at the 2027 awards.
