The Rose & Rockstar: Connecting through Nostalgia and Tribes
Share the goodness!
This week, Robert Rose, the Chief Troublemaker at the newly launched Seventh Bear, hosts Ian in our virtual bar, which has also been renamed The Rose and Rockstar, where Robert continues to suggest a cocktail for the week, but in a change to previous episodes, they enjoy a bit more time in the bar with a discussion on a topic that has come to mind this week.
As he serves his first Rockstar CMO cocktail of the New Year, Robert shares his favorite prediction for 2025, and this opens up a conversation that includes:
- Nostalgia can be a powerful marketing tool in 2025, and how we can use it in B2B
- Data-driven B2B marketing has lost its connection to art and culture
- The risks and rewards of pop culture references in our marketing
- Creating deeper connections to our audience through culture and finding our tribe
- Should Ian, high on the Godin Kool-Aid be using the word tribe?
As always, we welcome your feedback; please let us know if you like the new format and if you would like Ian and Robert to discuss a specific question in the bar. Please get in touch through the links below.
Enjoy!
