Episode Highlights
Laura’s Life as A Veteran-

Laura speaks about being very grateful that she had the opportunity to serve in the military.
She pointed out that from the time she started her journey in college she wanted to learn as much as possible about the military and from that she later enlisted.
What she thought was only going to be four years in college, turned into almost 28 years of service.
Laura highlighted that she retired in 2017 but the journey was incredible.

Laura Speaks About Her Purpose-

She points out that her purpose is to share what she has learned and what she now knows to be true in terms of the inner power that we all possess and are capable of unleashing.
To help people connect with the “awesomeness that is already inside of them.
Connect with the answers and also to discover their purpose; to understand that the answers are already inside of ourselves but sometimes we have to look outside of ourselves for the direction and getting them connected.

How Do We Cultivate An Environment Where We Can Slow Down and Live?-

Laura points out that we should start small; start from where we are at. Your quiet time doesn’t have to be sitting in silence, it can also be going for a walk, without music, that way you are able to listen and become more aware and present in the sounds of nature.
Find out what works best for you.
It is very important when checking in with yourself to ask yourself the following questions:

What am I thinking right now?
How do I feel right now?
How do I feel in my body right now?
