Show Notes

“With guns, you can kill terrorists, with education you can kill terrorism.” ― Malala Yousafzai

We are bombarded with marketing videos on a daily basis encouraging us to sign up to this school or that. But have we considered what goes into setting up one?

This week, The Entrepreneurial You podcast invites Grant Aldrich to take us through the ins and out of setting up an online school.

Here is a snippet of what Grant shared:

“The way that we monetize was that the whole platform is sponsored by the University.  I’ll take a step back. One of the impediments that I realized by looking at the audience – working adults- was that cost was a big factor for them. We all can appreciate this. We’re all busy adults. If we have to make a big purchase to do anything, we delay. Some have never been in an online classroom. Some are worried that they won’t be successful. Some are worried that they won’t have the time management to do it. So you’ve got all of these fears, including cost As I was moving through to chip away at each of these things I knew it had to be free.”

Listen to the episode and let us know what is your biggest takeaway.
